COVID Protocols

 

Notaviva Craft Fermentations reopened Saturday, May 30th and is adhering to all state-mandated health and safety guidelines as set forth by Governor Northam. In addition, we are implementing specific processes and protocols unique to our site for the safety of our customers, our staff and our family.   

We reserve the right to make changes to any/all of our proposed protocols to protect the safety of our staff and our customers. Any customers that do not comply with any/all of our protocols will be asked to leave our property immediately.

This is an evolving situation for all of us and we are doing our best to provide the safest and most enjoyable experience for our customers within the mandated guidelines.

 

RESERVATIONS: Backstage Pass / VIP Club members may make reservations, please call Shannon at 703-216-9194 to reserve your table.

 

HOURS OF OPERATION: Our property will be open for onsite consumption of Notaviva Wine, Beer & Cider according to seasonal hours of operation. Per Virginia ABC regulations, NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL WILL BE PERMITTED and we reserve the right to inspect all coolers onsite.

 

CHECK IN:  All customers must check in at the front porch upon arrival to be assigned a designated space.  IDs will be checked for all visitors upon arrival.

 

SEATING: Seating will be outside only (rain or shine).  We have a limited number of tables available on a first come, first serve basis for active customers only.

Customers are encouraged to bring their own blankets, chairs and pop-up canopies for personal use during the day within designated spaces.

 

WINE/BEER/CIDER ORDERS: Wine/Beer/Cider will be sold by glass/pint/bottle only.  We will not be offering tastings or flights. Orders may be placed via our online ordering system notaviva.square.site or by coming to the front porch bar.  Per state regulations, alcohol will be served in single use disposable glasses until further notice. New growlers and crowlers will be available for to-go purchases only (not for on premise consumption.)  Per state regulations, no personal growler fills are permitted at this time.

 

FOOD - Outside picnics are always welcome and we reserve the right to inspect all coolers/picnics that are brought onsite. We will have a limited offering of pre-packaged dry goods (chips, crackers, jerky, cookies, etc) for sale to supplement your picnics.  No additional food service will be offered. Please be prepared to bring your own nourishment to provide for the safe consumption of alcohol. Again per Virginia ABC regulations NO outside alcohol is permitted at any time.

 

MASKS and SOCIAL DISTANCING:  Masks will be required when you are entering the tasting room to use the restrooms or on the front porch to make purchases. Once you are settled at your table or seating area, you may feel free to remove your mask.  

 

RESTROOMS:  One restroom will be made available for use onsite.  Only one person is permitted entrance at a time and masks must be worn by everyone who uses the facilities.  The bathroom will be cleaned once an hour at the top of the hour.

 

ADULTS ONLY: Notaviva will remain a 21+ only facility during this time.  All guests must have a valid ID in order to be permitted on site.

 

PETS ALLOWED ON LEASHES ONLY: Pretty self explanatory.

 

NO GROUPS ALLOWED: Groups will not be allowed on the property at this time (no more than 8 people permitted in any seating area).
